Fall photo contest announced

The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau is holding a fall photo contest through Oct. 31.

The theme for the competition, “As You See It,” is designed to challenge photographers to show the CVB what Liberty County means to them. Whether it is a person, a body of water, nature, a historic site or something else, it should be something that makes one think of Liberty County.

The top three entries in each division will receive prizes. Entries will be split by age: 5-11, 12-17 and 18-older. There also will be a people’s choice award, which will be determined by the number of likes received in a Facebook contest. All entries will compete against each other in the people’s choice competition.

Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Online voting will begin on Friday, Nov. 2.

If interested, go to facebook.com/LibertyCVB for rules and an entry form; email tourism@libertycounty.org or call 368-3580.
