Joseph Martin Elementary School and Midway Middle School will host "Family Fun Fest" at Regency Apartments, Saturday Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to be a visible united front in a neighborhood whose children are being served.

"JME and MMS will be working together to let our kids, parents and community know who we are and that we care," JME Assistant Principal Anthony Johnson said.

Families will enjoy free food, games, picture frame station where students can take pictures with teachers and school administrators, uniform and school supply giveaway and face painting.

There will also be several information stations at Family Fun Fest which include:
-Counselor's Corner for all counselors.
-Academic Coach for curriculum-friendly information.
-Testing Coordinator for testing and calendar information.
-Parent Involvement

The event is free to attend.
