Four people with ties to Liberty and Long counties have completed basic military training:
Reed graduates from Air Force basic
Air Force Airman 1st Class Alicia T. Reed graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Reed is the daughter of Elliott D. Reed of Opa-Locka, Florida, and Carla L. Campbell of Riceboro, and the stepdaughter of Darrell G. Campbell of Riceboro. She also is the granddaughter of Jahazel McClure of Miami, Fla., and the sister of Elliott D. Reed and Maurice M. Reed of Miami and Kanetra S. Thomas-Campbell and Darrell G. Campbell of Miami Gardens, Fla.
The airman graduated in 2009 from Hialeah Miami Lakes in Hialeah, Fla., and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2014 from Savannah State University.
Colaire graduates from Army basic
Army Pvt. Triston E. Colaire has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina.
Colaire is the son of Egbert Colaire of Snellville and nephew of Earl Robin of Hinesville.
He is a 2014 graduate of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville.
Smith graduates from Army basic
Army Pvt. Daniel T. Smith has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Benning.
Smith is the son of Thomas M. Smith of Cochran and Jennifer B. Phurrough of Ringgold.
He is a 2011 graduate of Georgia National Guard Youth Challenge Academy, Fort Stewart.
Radford graduates from Air Force basic
Air Force Airman Rhanesha V. Radford graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Radford earned distinction as an honor graduate.
She is the daughter of Rhonda L. Radford of Austell, and Roderick Radford of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and the niece of Marguerite E. Andrews of Hinesville.
The airman graduated in 2007 from South Cobb High School, Austell, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley.
