The Long County Middle School Future Business Leaders of America group recently visited Coastal Manor Nursing home for Christmas.
Club members made Christmas cards for each resident and walked the hallways while singing Christmas carols. At the end of the visit, some residents gathered in the activities room and the members sang more carols. After visiting Coastal Manor, the group traveled to Chili’s in Hinesville for their annual Christmas social.
Also in December, the LCMS FBLA members participated in a toy drive for Toys for Tots. Sarah McLaughin, FBLA parent and Toys for Tots representative, worked with the group to get the donations. More 50 toys were collected and donated to the program. Each member who donated a toy received a pin from Toys for Tots.
