The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Performing Arts Center, 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington. The event is sponsored by Keep Liberty Beautiful.

The luncheon will feature Anthony Fulton of Wellcare. The topic of discussion will be on Wellcare of Georgia’s Community Garden Program and how it has impacted communities.

“Through the implementation of mini-grants across the state, Wellcare aspires to make fresh fruits and vegetables available in every neighborhood,” said Fulton.
