HAAC art exhibit focues on digital

The Hinesville Area Arts Council will host an exhibit of artwork by Karl W. Kirven during November.

"Life in Color is a collection of work that embodies some of my favorite things over the last year," Kirven said. "Places, people, moments, etc. Some resulted in a familiar face, a long jog, a favorite stop or something I just couldn’t help but capture. While I enjoy using traditional mediums (oils, acrylics, charcoals, pencils, etc.), Life in Color captures an all-digital medium. A new and refreshing way to explore art and its many dimensions. Please come and embark on this exploration with me. I hope you enjoy it."

The exhibit will open with a free community reception at the Gallery at 102 Commerce St. in downtown Hinesville from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
