The Hineshouse Project Inc. resident services staff and the Summer Learning Camp participants boarded a chartered bus early in the morning on July 11 at Regency Apartments and headed to Atlanta for a field trip.
The group made a visit to the World of Coca-Cola Museum, The Georgia Aquarium and the Martin Luther King Center.
The trip served as most campers’ first visit to Atlanta.
Others had been previously, but had never toured the city’s main attractions.
The campers agreed that they enjoyed the field trip and thought it was a fun way to end their time at summer camp.
