Hinesville Rotary Club member Brigitte Shanken is currently traveling abroad as part of a month-long service opportunity.

Shanken was selected as a member of the six-person team traveling to India. As a member of Rotary District 6920’s Friendship Exchange Team, she is accompanied by other Georgia Rotary members.

In Guntur, India, she and other Rotary members recently planted trees in response to Rotary International President Ian Riseley’s challenge for every Rotarian to plan a tree before April 22.
