A Georgia Child Identification Program event will run 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at Hinesville Lodge No. 271 at 933B E.G. Miles Parkway.

The free program will prepare a document kit for families who want their childrens’ ID information for their safekeeping. The kit includes a full-color digital photograph, a set of digital fingerprints, DNA and Scent, as well as information about the child including eye and hair color and scars. To ensure privacy, information provided to create the kit is erased after the kit is given to the family.

The event is approved by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. For more information, call Brian Tiner at 912-492-0312 or go to www.gachip.org.
