Latin-jazz percussionist Sam Rodriguez of Jacksonville will perform at the next Jazz in the Park concert from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at Neptune Park on St. Simons Island.
Rodriguez has performed with artists such as Anita Baker, Jennifer Holiday, Barry White and Gladys Knight.
The night will feature a back-to-school special, in which school employees — public, private or college — can attend for $5 by showing their ID.  
Regular admission is $10 per adult, $5 per child age 6-12, and free for children younger than 6.
The concert series continues with one show per month through September.
