Members of the American Legion and Ladies’ Auxiliary of Post 168 said they were thankful to the community for making the organization’s recent, bi-yearly yard sale a success.
“The kindness and generosity of our community has made it possible to continue our work with the veterans, retired and active, and to help our community prosper,” auxiliary member Sally H. Harris said. “We had over 30 vendors, one of which came from Sumpter, S.C., to participate.
“Also, we had the American Legion Riders, a newly founder motorcycle club for our post,” she said. “So all of the support that you can give is greatly appreciated by these dedicated people.”
