Liberty, Long Forestry courts crowned

The Liberty and Long County Forestry Pageant were held on Feb. 24 at Brewton-Parker College’s Liberty campus.
Thirty-one girls competed for titles in the baby through miss divisions. Winners in each division, with the exception of the baby division, will represent their county in the Miss Georgia Forestry State Scholarship Pageant in Tifton in June.
This is Liberty County’s fifth and Long County’s fourth year of competition at state.
In 2004 Amber Brooke Holland from Liberty won the state title of Tiny Miss Georgia Forestry and Caylne Fung is the reigning 2006 Tiny Miss Georgia Forestry Queen.
Representing Liberty County at the state pageant this year will be Teeny Miss Samantha Smith, daughter of Chet and Petra Smith; Tiny Miss Delaney Wells, daughter of Bobby and Lisa Wells; Little Miss Katilyn Bell, daughter of David and Dusty Bell; Junior Miss Amanda Kent, daughter of Billy and Lynette Middleton; Teen Miss Robin Glandon, daughter of Jon and Theresa Glandon; and Miss Liberty County Forestry Leslie Zechman, daughter of Paul and Marleen Zechman.
Baby Miss Liberty County Forestry Kayden Pearson will be included in county activities.
Representing Long County is Teeny Miss Dacey Gibson, daughter of Miranda and Timothy Gibson; Tiny Miss Deanna West, daughter of Preston and Jennifer West; Little Miss Rachael Smith, daughter of Michael and Brenda Smith; Jr. Miss Xena Lewallen, daughter of Michelle Lewallen; Teen Miss Amy Baker, daughter of David and Theresa Baker; and Miss Long County Forestry Samantha Sikes, daughter of Kim Woodard and Gill Sikes. Baby Miss Rebecca Clark, daughter of Robert and Wendy Clark, will be in local activities.
