Curves participating in food drive

During March, Curves of Hinesville will participate in the 11th annual Curves food drive to benefit local food banks. Collectively, during the past five years, nearly 50 million pounds of food have been distributed to communities all over the world through the Curves food drive.
Curves of Hinesville is also waiving its normal service fee for any new member who brings in a bag of non-perishable groceries and joins between March 9-28.
“The Curves Food Drive is always exciting,” said Peggy McRae, owner of the Hinesville club at 230 W. Gen. Screven Way, suite 106. “We have a chance to help so many people at a time when the food banks are lowest. Especially during these uncertain times, this food is needed more than ever. It’s a win-win situation for everyone, and we’re very proud to participate.”
Anyone can donate by dropping off non-perishable foods throughout March at Curves during business hours, Monday-Friday. For more information, call 876-6615.
