Dr. Robert Simmons Jr. and associates recently announced that Dr. Michael S. Parr joined them at Hinesville Smiles.
Parr is a graduate of the University Of Maryland College Of Dental Surgery. He served four years as an officer in the United States Public Health Service Corps and seven years as a senior attending II with New York’s Health and Hospital Corporation. He also was an associate professor at New York Medical College.
During this time, Parr performed every discipline of dentistry and fine-tuned his talents as a cosmetic and implant specialist.
Parr, who has written several articles and regularly attends continuing-education courses, is a member of the following professional organizations:
• First District Dental Society
• The American Dental Association
• Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
• Fellow of the International Congress if Oral Implantologists
A lifelong musician and sculptor, Parr has recorded and performed with several notable artists.
