Liberty County High School held its annual blood drive Monday to support community blood banks. Students and staff helped the school surpass its goal of 25 units of blood. They ended the day with 30 units.
American Red Cross Coastal District Manager Dean Smith was pleased with the event.
“The drive at Liberty County High School was a wonderful success, and we are grateful that you have allowed your students, faculty and staff to participate. We were able to see 40 donors present and collected 30 units of blood, which will potentially impact the lives of up to 90 people. What a magnificent accomplishment!” Smith said. “We hope to continue to serve the needs of Liberty County High School in the future and look forward to continuing to forge a strong partnership in the community.”
