State offers quitting smoking help

The Georgia Department of Public Health is offering a free four-week supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
The NRT is in the form of nicotine gum or nicotine patches and available to all tobacco users in Georgia older than 18, regardless of insurance status, while supplies last.
Georgians who use tobacco and are ready to quit can call the Georgia Tobacco Quit Line at 1-877-270-7867 (English); 1-877-266-3863 (Spanish); and 1-877-777-6534 (hearing impaired) for the free therapies. The Quit Line is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
