Two from area finish nursing course

JESUP – Two area residents were presented with roses and pins Dec. 8 to signify successful completion of coursework in the Practical Nursing program at Altamaha Technical College’s Jesup campus.
Shamika Roberts of Liberty County and Amy Parker of Long County received their pins as part of group of 17 students who qualified for the ceremony.
Roberts and Parker also are class officers. Roberts is vice president, while Parker is a Student Leadership Council representative.
The ceremony commemorated the students’ successful completion of their nursing coursework and clinical rotations.
