James Wasdin and Brenda Howard have been selected as the 2015 Long County Relay for Life co-chairs, American Cancer Society senior community manager Kelley Spaeder recently announced.
According to Wasdin, next year’s RFL will take place May 8 at Veterans Stadium in Ludowici. He said that there is a big need for volunteers to sponsor teams, secure sponsorships and help in organizing the event.    
Howard said there will be a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the New Beginning Church in Ludowici for those interested in helping.
This year is the 10th year that Long County will hold a RFL.
Last year, over $25,000 was raised, and people from across the area came out to be a part of the night.
