With an Eiffel Tower skyline painted on the walls of their high school gymnasium, juniors and seniors of Long County High School danced and partied Saturday for one of their last times as classmates.
The group gathered for this year’s junior/senior prom, which had the theme of “A Midnight in Paris” and the slogan of “Tonight’s Dream…Tomorrow’s Memory.”
Though the party was held in an arena of competition, it looked more like a French café on Saturday.  Early in the evening, the teens posed for pictures as parents took snapshots. The groups then linked up at local restaurants for meals. When the young men and women reached the school, pictures were taken by a professional photographer.
With a disc jockey playing songs, the Cupid Shuffle seemed to be the dance that everyone strutted to. Just before 10 p.m., parents joined their sons and daughters as the Senior Walk took place. After the walk, the junior prince and princess were announced, with Brandon Abbot and Christina Perez getting the honors.
After the juniors were crowned, Dalton Long was named the prom king and Shavonte’ Turner was named the prom queen.
After more pictures, parents were escorted out as the teens went back to the dance floor.
Junior advisor Sabina Caines was the prom’s organizer.
