Ludowici crowns a new queen

Division winners from the 2013 Miss Ludowici Pageant show off their winnings May 4 at Long County High School.

The 2013 Miss Ludowici Pageant was held May 4 at Long County High School.  
Hillary Altman won this year’s Miss Ludowici title. She was crowned by the 2012 winner Ivonna Smith, who received a $500 check for faithfully serving her year as the title holder. Altman will receive a $500 check next year upon completing her reign successfully.
In other divisions, Scout Ferry was the winner of the baby miss crown and also the most-sponsored award. Saje Williamson won the toddler miss division, while Savannah Cox took home the Tiny Miss title. Ashlyn Hughes was this year’s Pre-Teen Miss winner, and Ashley Middleton was named Junior Miss queen.  
In the Mrs. division, Kylie Overbey took the title, while Haley Riddle won the Miss Congeniality title.  
The pageant was sponsored by KIDZ-Etc., a nonprofit that funds local scholarships for graduating seniors.
