Ludowici High School Classes of 1940-1964 are planning a combined annual reunion for Sept. 24 at Ludowici First Baptist Church social hall.

"It is hoped by us all that again this year, we can share old memories, renew old friendships, reminisce some of the good ol’ days at LHS," organizer Earl Swindell said. "We’ll also exchange a few old and new war stories, while enjoying a delightful catered dinner with ample time for everyone to meet and greet their old school friends."

Five additional classes (1960-1964) have been added to the invitation list this year.

More information with details will be provided to class members in an invitation to be sent in August.

A representative for each class will be identified at a planning committee meeting at 5 p.m. July 11 at Claudine Chesser’s home in Ludowici.

When representatives have been selected, more information will be released.

"Many of us older LHS students are getting no younger and we look forward for this annual get-together every year," Swindell said.
