Luncheon focuses on films in area

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon Thursday at the Liberty County BOE Transportation Complex, 100 Technology Drive in Hinesville.

The event will be sponsored by The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The topic of discussion will be the impact of the entertainment industry on Liberty County.

The luncheon will feature Matt Norsworthy, producer/chief operating officer of Wonder Worthy Productions; Anthony Paderewski, an actor and casting director who was featured in the films “The Last Song” and “Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies”; and William Mark McCullough, an actor, director and producer from Savannah. Charles Bowen, founder of the Savannah Film and Television Alliance, will also attend.

The cost to attend is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. RSVP by Tuesday by calling 368-4445 or emailing operations@libertycounty.org.
