Memorial walk gets $5,000 donation

Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association National President James McCartney presented a check for $5,000 at the Veterans Salute on Nov. 1 in Bryant Commons to George Holtzman of the Hinesville Military Affairs Committee and Hinesville Mayor James Thomas.
The check was the second installment of a $10,000 donation to provide a concrete bench at the Veterans Memorial Walk to honor Navy Veterans. The ITPA National Office and Telephone Museum is at Bryant Commons, where the Veterans Memorial Walk will be constructed.
