ATLANTA — The stork made a special delivery to an expectant mother from Midway. Destiny Schussler, 25, played the Georgia Lottery instant game Millionaire Jumbo Bucks and won $25,000.
“It’s fantabulous timing,” said Schussler, a mother of two, who is expecting a daughter at the end of March. “I’m still in disbelief.”
Lake George Get-N-Go, at 1604 Limerick Road in Midway, sold the ticket. Schussler scratched the ticket in the store.
“I was thrilled,” she said.
A medical assistant, Schussler plans to use her lottery prize to pay bills.
Millionaire Jumbo Bucks has cash prizes including $2.5 million top prizes and $250,000 second prizes.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $10.5 billion to the state for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 940,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
