SAVANNAH — Bring your appetite and the family to get some barbecue at the Blues, Jazz and BBQ Festival hosted by the Savannah Waterfront Association Friday and Saturday.

Deep Southern blues, smooth jazz and smoky meat will be served up on historic River Street.

“The 2016 Blues, Jazz and BBQ festival is sure to deliver this year,” association President Emily Dickinson said, adding that there will be local food vendors, jazz and blues bands and arts and crafts vendors.

Entertainment will be in Rousakis Plaza. Performances will include Greg Williams, Brett Barnard and the Hitman Band, and Bottles and Cans. Other artists that will be taking the stage throughout the weekend include Corry Chambers Jazz Band, Danielle Hicks and Jacey Falk.

Weekend festivities begin at 4 p.m. Friday, with First Friday Fireworks presented by Wet Willies at 9:30. The festival continues 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
