ATLANTA— The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Tourism division teamed up with the new travel show ‘The Excursion with David Zelski’ to put a spotlight on Georgia’s outdoor adventures.

This new travel show airs regionally on Fox Sports Southeast and on Discovery’s Destination America.  A full list of episodes including air dates and times is available on ExploreGeorgia.org.

“With Georgia’s natural beauty as the backdrop, each episode of ‘The Excursion with David Zelski’ showcases why our state’s outdoor destinations are second to none,” said Kevin Langston, Deputy Commissioner for Georgia Tourism with the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “From our epic mountain landscapes and extreme adventures to unparalleled lodging and culinary indulgences, this new series lets viewers know that Georgia is filled with unique adventures for everyone.”

In the first season, host David Zelski treks across Georgia for a set of timed challenges from ziplines and rock climbs to explorations through rivers, mountains, island trails and more. The back-to-back adventures may or may not end with a tasty and relaxing reward. ‘The Excursion with David Zelski’ countdown clock ticks away on the screen periodically during the broadcast and determines whether he gets the reward at the end of the show.
