The Hinesville Area Arts Council will host an art exhibit, "Hope Pictured," featuring photography by Joanna Ng through October.

The exhibit will feature a celebration of womanhood and the oddities that life brings our way in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"I am excited for the opportunity to share the beauty of women — their strength, love, hope and faith in different stages and times of life," Ng said.

The exhibit will open with a free community reception at the HAAC Gallery at 102 Commerce St. in downtown Hinesville from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
