The Official Savannah Rock ‘n Roll Marathon Pasta Party and Concert will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at 10 E. Broad St. in Savannah.
The event will be hosted by Connect Savannah and the Charles H. Morris Center.
The event is open to marathon runners as well as those looking for a healthy dinner and music on the eve of the third annual Savannah Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon. More than 20,000 runners are expected for the marathon, which begins at 7 a.m. Nov. 9 at the corner of Bay and Bull streets in Savannah.
Pasta, chicken, salad and dessert will be catered by the Pirates’ House restaurant. The evening also will feature two bands playing the Southern Eagle Stage — the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, with its mix of Sinatra, Michael Buble, Blues Brothers and Motown tunes; and the Southern rock band the Blue Dogs.
Tickets are $25, with gluten-free meals available for $3 extra. Beer, wine and sodas will be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased at www.connectsavannah.com, at the Marathon Expo or at the Morris Center the night of the show.
