Pet owners’ dogs and cats can have their photo taken with Santa, get groomed and stay healthy at a drive-through pet-vaccination clinic Saturday.
The Coastal Community Veterinary Clinic, a nonprofit, low-cost veterinary clinic, will hold the event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Vaden Nissan of Hinesville on Highway 84. Pets will be vaccinated for rabies ($8) and given other yearly shots, including canine distemper/parvo ($15), canine bordetella ($15), canine influenza ($25) and the combined feline leukemia and FVCR ($20). Heartworm tests for dogs cost $20.
The clinic’s permanent location is next to Liberty Humane Shelter, 279 Briarwood Circle. Regular clinic appointment hours are 4-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. For more information, call 912-448-2282 or visit Coastal Community Veterinary Clinic on Facebook.
