Liberty County High School held its fourth annual Pink Panther Day for breast-cancer awareness Oct. 30.  This event is sponsored by Family Career and Community Leaders of America. This year, Pink Panther Day was held in honor of Kim Brown, an LCHS teacher who is battling breast cancer.  This year’s shirt was designed in honor of Brown and had her favorite quote, “You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have,” on the back with her initials. FCCLA members sold 267 shirts, almost double what they sold last year. Proceeds totaling $850 will be donated to the Suzie Q Foundation of Hinesville.
