Holtzman Companies spent the past three weeks collecting items for Manna House and Coastal Manor Nursing Home. Items such as blankets, socks, shower powder, and crossword puzzle books were collected to take to the nursing home on Dec. 13 when Holtzman employees, agents and family members visited to sing carols. Non-perishable items and $501 were collected for Manna House. With Manna House able to purchase food from America’s Second Harvest at 18 to 30 cents a pound, a lot of good will come from the cash donations. The president of the board of Manna House, Father Will Carter, accepted the donations for Manna House and said a blessing over everything that was collected.
