The 2017 Liberty RiceFest Pageant will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Riceboro Youth Center.

Any girl ages 3-19 who lives in Liberty County was eligible. This year’s contestants are Zoey Penny, Erykah Ivory, Aniyah Hunter, Jocelyn Brown, Arlasia Jones, Enyce Roberts and Rachel Henry.

Contestants will showcase their knowledge of Gullah Geechee culture, talent, poise and public speaking. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Categories are Miss Liberty RiceFest Baby, Little Miss Liberty RiceFest and Miss Liberty RiceFest.

Other guests and entertainers will perform. A youth dance will also be held from 3-5 p.m. All students K-12 are invited.
