The Ride for the Cause motorcycle and car event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in Irene B. Thomas Park on Sharon Street. Registration is at 9 a.m.

The fee is $10 or an unwrapped $10 gift. The event is a fundraiser for Georgia Regional Hospital patients. Food, entertainment, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing will be available.
