Members of the Hinesville Rotary Club’s board of directors present a $1,000 check to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning at the Justice Center. The LCSO’s Project Life Saver program provides electronic identification bracelets for Alzheimer’s patients, autistic children and anyone needing full-time care who might wander off. Each bracelet cost about $300. Sheriff Steve Sikes thanked the Rotary Club, explaining that the bracelets provide “peace of mind” for family members and caretakers.
