Sailor redeploys

ET2 (SW/AW) Trevor Ribal, a Long County native, recently returned from a deployment on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65).
While serving abroad, Ribal completed qualifications for enlisted surface warfare specialist and enlisted air warfare specialist badges.
He also was selected to receive a promotion to petty officer second class (E-5) as an electronics technician.
Ribal has served in the U.S. Navy since July 2006 and aboard the legendary USS Enterprise since June 2007.
This was his second deployment. He now moves to a new command for further training to advance his naval career.
Welcoming him home in Norfolk were his wife, Jessica Ribal, and stepson, Gage Shannon, along with several friends.
He is the son of Kelly Ribal Clary of Ludowici and Thomas Ribal of Savannah. His siblings are Nick Ribal and Laura Clary. Grandparents include David and Kay Myers of Ludowici and Tim and Susan Ribal of Linden, Calif.
