SAVANNAH — Senior citizens from the Liberty County-Hinesville Senior Center in Hinesville participated in the “Senior Idol” talent show June 24 in Savannah. The show was sponsored by the Ruth Byck Adult Day Care Center.
The Hinesville group sang “When We All Get to Heaven” to an audience of nearly 200.
Local participants were Lola Dixon, William Armstrong, Junius James, Leila Bacon, Edward Singleton and Joyce Miles.
The Liberty County-Hinesville Senior Center, 800 Tupelo Trail, offers activities ranging from guest speakers, games and field trips for people ages 55 and older.
