Twenty-six middle-school girls recently completed a week of leadership training as a part of the Emerging Young Leaders Initiative. The training is a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s signature initiative, which focuses on aspects such as leadership development, educational enrichment, civic engagement and character building. This training was sponsored locally by the Nu Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
