It’s really sad that the five birth announcements in Sunday’s paper are all unwed mothers. Congratulations and great job.

The weekly web poll in Friday’s Courier in reference to SPLOST shows 42 percent no, 45 percent yes and 13 percent undecided. Are people finally waking up and not automatically accepting what the Liberty County officials are wanting to shove down our throats again? No more taxes — period. I plan to vote against it.

The Midway police should give tickets to the Midway city vehicles for improper lights. They about rear-ended a trailer because it didn’t have any lights on it. They should do this instead of picking on fruit stands and lemonade stands.

Is it true that there’s a local church that is giving a member that brings the most guests $200?
