The school board should find out why the schools are keeping kids in the gifted program but they can’t maintain A or B averages. Other kids that are on the honor roll are not in the program. Something is wrong with the program.
Sunday’s paper said Long County cuts tax rate. Well, come on Liberty County, surely someone here is as intelligent as those in Long County. Instead of cuts, they just go up, up, up here.
Beware, diabetic patients, some company is trying to give free meters, but they ask for all kinds of information including Medicaid number, which is your and Social Security number. Do not give them any information.
The bypass around Hinesville for the 12 miles is a good idea, but the people in the county and surrounding counties, I’m sure, would like to see 196 finished before they go on to any other projects.
