Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously so the Courier does not know if they are true, nor what motivated the callers:

 

My, my, my, how the mighty have fallen. I hear one real estate agent has seven homes for sale. I knew this economy would get everyone.

Parents, we’re told to check our children so they don’t fall through the cracks in our school system. What they don’t tell you is to start before they are 3, so they don’t fall through when they are 4 or 5.

 $75 million is coming to Liberty County. I hope it doesn’t go to the big land developers who already have a lot of money and have been overzealous with their greed. Give them what they deserve and nothing more.

I live in Hinesville and I’m sick of the clerks always asking for my ID.
