Why do people call Sound off? We hope and pray at least a little of our constructive comment will be published. Anything that is constructive criticism just isn’t published. I don’t know if the paper is in the city’s pocket or what.

President Obama is trying to cause us to fall into socialism. He’s done more damage since he’s been in. He’s becoming a dictator.

In the past few months it’s only gotten worse. When you go into a store the person is either on the phone or a computer and act as if they don’t want your business.
I wish Comcast would have left Channel 19, the religious channel, on. It’s in the basic package. Take another one away and give us Channel 19.

Realtors and homeowners that rent their homes out, make sure those renters take care of the property inside and out. They’re devaluing the neighborhood when they don’t keep the property up.

To the person trashing the company rebuilding 196: They seem to have forgotten 196 was a two-lane stretch of road with a two-lane bridge and swamps on both sides and many yards in between. You can’t just throw asphalt down.

To my friends in Midway, I invite you to watch EWTN, which is a beautiful religious program. You’ll love it.

To the people who came back while I was being robbed, God bless you. You saved my life. To the detectives who caught my robber, thank you. To anyone who thinks of committing armed robbery of a convenience store, does anyone think 20 years in prison is worth $150 and two boxes of Krispy Kremes.
