Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their safety, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

For all you fools traveling on Fort Stewart road who continue to flash me because you think my brights are on, I’m going to start putting them on to really blind you.

What makes Sheriff Martin exempt from getting a ticket when he hit the car in the rear? That’s automatically wrong.

I’d like to thank the Life Pentecostal Church for putting on such a wonderful Christmas party for the adopted and foster children. I’m a foster parent and they really did a great job.

I’ve been in law enforcement for years and usually whenever anybody hits anybody in the rear is at fault whether they have their lights on or not because you’re supposed to follow far enough back to avoid them.
I would enjoy receiving peanuts for Christmas. No one never sends me nothing, ever, for Christmas. If you don’t want those peanuts, please send them to me.

All of these Christmas activities during the week are very bad because the school children that would really enjoy going to these can’t go because they start at 8 and they are
too young to stay up that late.
