Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does  not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

I’d just like to say to your guest writer who puts articles in on Wednesday, I just read Hosain v. Malik about the American court in Maryland. I wish the guy would just read the whole thing and use the facts and not just cut and paste bullets to make it look like something’s wrong. Read the whole brief.

In regards to the Comcast rebate credit card, I believe it is a fraud. Mike Riddle should do some research on Comcast rebates and, with his findings, write an article on what he found. Go to www.rebatecenter.com to see what people have to say about Comcast rebates.

A person’s faith is between that person and the creator. Worry about your own actions before you worry about someone else’s beliefs.

I just went to the GeoVista ATM. I left $40 in the slot, and I know the person behind me wasn’t honest enough like the young man that was written about in the paper the other day. They could have blown the horn — but anyway, merry Christmas.

Whatever color uniform our heroes wear, overseas or at home in small towns, or in big cities, I want to thank you for the sacrifices that you make being away from your families at the holidays to protect us and keep us safe overnight. Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

The person who said it was a mess for asking a question about police cars must be a Democrat. You did not answer the question. Democrats ask more questions.
