With this economy as bad as it is and taxes so high, there is no need for the board of education to go to Savannah for a two-day retreat. They have the old Brewton-Parker College building that can be used and the board of education building that can be used.

Thank you, city of Hinesville, for approving all of the new electronic sign clutter around town. Now we have more to distract us as we drive.
 
People who are complaining about your power bills, maybe you should check your records from previous years. 2010 was $224.86; 2011 was $251.85; 2012 is $194.94 for the same period. Quit complaining already, when I found it almost $57 less. It gave me peace of mind, too.
