Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

Attention, employers: IDO. That means “income deduction order,” that is something that child support does to the employer so that child support can be paid from the employer. That is a court-ordered item.

You know, I’m tired of reading about these people complaining about their Georgia Power smart meters. If they’re so concerned about their power bills, why don’t they go look at Cannoochee and then they’ll beg to have Georgia Power. I wish I had Georgia Power in my area.

I love Dick Yarbrough’s column. He is absolutely hilarious. He says what most of us are thinking, but we’re too scared to say it. Keep it up, Dick.
