This is to the caller who lives in Gum Branch and wants to know where all the smoke is coming from. Evidently you do not watch the news or read the newspaper. It’s coming from the fires in Ludowici, Waycross and the surrounding areas.

I live in Long County and I do read the Liberty County newspaper. Some of us do read Liberty County news and Long County news, and it’s only fair that if we spend our money on the Coastal Courier, we should read our news, too.
