I was reviewing the immigration bill they’re trying to pass in Congress. I was shocked to find out that in that Gang of Eight bill that immigrants will be given preference on jobs. That means our young kids will have to wait to get jobs. We need to get jobs for our kids so they get off the streets so they stay out of trouble. Americans, we need to stick together and stop voting for people who want amnesty for illegal immigrants.

To all Liberty County School Board employees: I think we were better off with Dr. Scherer. I know we have qualified employees that can work at the board, such as principals, but with Dr. Lee, they don’t have a chance. So don’t look forward to a promotion anytime soon. To the principal that’s coming to Waldo Pafford, I hope he/she is ready, because we’re ready for them.

I’m calling in regards to all of the back taxes that are owed in Long County. According to the Coastal Courier, it’s over $265,000 worth of back taxes that go as far back as 1999. They say they’re going to have a tax sale Aug. 5 and 6. The same names that are on the list this time were on the list last time. All I can say to all of you voters in Long County is that you better wake up when election time comes.

This is a warning for anybody that owns a pond. I urge you to check your pond and see if there are alligators in it with their mouths taped shut. Apparently there’s some jerks going around Airport Road and doing just that. They’re going around searching for ponds and dumping baby alligators in people’s ponds with their mouths taped shut. These alligators are slowly starving to death. If you should notice one, please call the police because the DNR isn’t doing anything about it.
