To the person who called about the Long County teacher of the year: You don’t have all your facts correct. It is nothing but a popularity contest at this point. All of those teachers that have been there and worked hard lose out. I’m not saying that the teacher that won teacher of the year wasn’t a good choice, but it really isn’t a fair process.

I think that the American people should boycott the produce from Mexico for what they’ve done to the Marines. Obama needs to be kicked in the seat for letting them stay that long. Let’s boycott them for what they’ve done.

My daughter was invited to the awards ceremony at Lewis Frasier, but her name was never called because it wasn’t on the program. I don’t think that was fair, and they should be checked more closely. I was very disappointed.

I think that it’s unfair that they furlough some of us civilians that work constantly and don’t take breaks. I think the commander of Winn Army should take a survey and see the other people who take four or five breaks a day and furlough them permanently instead of the civilian workers who are always working.
