Sound off for June 17

Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

North Korea did have a trial. They do believe in torture. They have hard labor. And once you get in there, you do not get out. You just need to pray for our country and theirs also.

Hey, thanks, Coastal Courier for putting my paper in those plastic bags. That’s nice, but apparently on rainy days you don’t have any bags.

I think they should have sent everyone one of those stimulus checks, not just people on welfare and disability. It should have gone to working class people, not just those who sit at home and do nothing.

There is a scam going on in Hinesville about credit cards. I just had someone call me and ask for my card information, saying my card was running out. Do not give anyone card information on the phone.

They need to make a bypass around Tradeport East so all the taxpayers on the east end don’t get a slap in the face when we have to drive by there.

I sent a gift to a graduate and didn’t expect a thank you note and don’t need one. Give from the heart, don’t expect something back whenever you give.

Thank you for putting more in Sound off. It’s worth reading the paper now. It’s also good to keep up with what’s going on.
