 Wal-Mart, you wanted to check my ID to buy some primer to paint a car, yet my friend was right in front of me and she’s 16, not 18, and you didn’t check her ID to buy tobacco. Get real and quit hassling people.

I hope the Liberty County School Board pays attention to its own guidelines. I know of five families that live outside the Midway Middle and Liberty County High School that have their children going to school that they are not part of.
I’m a 20 percent disabled Vietnam veteran, 62 years old. This morning I washed a Toyota and waxed a big pickup truck. And I was not at home sitting on my fat fanny.
